CARDAMOM ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES

1.
Cardamom Truffles
Ingredients: 2 drops Cardamom oil, 1 ¼ c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 small avocado, ¼ tsp. vanilla bean paste, ¼ c. walnuts (optional)
​Instructions: Smash avocado until a smooth texture is acquired. Melt chocolate chips. Add avocado, Cardamom essential oil, and vanilla to chocolate. Mix thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Use a mixing spoon and form the chocolate mixture into a ball. Dip in left over melted chocolate and apply sprinkles.

Cardamom Mustard Chicken Wings
Ingredients: For Sauce : 4 tbsps. spicy mustard, 3–4 drops Cardamom oil, 2 tbsps. brown sugar, 2 tbsps. olive oil, ½ tsp. salt, ¼ tsp. pepper.  Wings: 12 chicken wings, Olive oil, Salt , Pepper
​Instructions: Combine all ingredients for the sauce and set aside until sugar dissolves. Coat chicken wings with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in oven for 60 minutes at 350° F; turn once during baking. Remove from oven, baste with sauce until coated evenly.

Roasted Butternut Squash Soup
Ingredients: 3 c. medium diced butternut squash, 2–3 c. chicken stock, 2 drops Cardamom essential oil, 2 drops Cinnamon Bark essential oil, 1 tsp. salt, ½ tsp. black pepper, ½ c. heavy cream or evaporated skim milk, ¼ c. small diced carrot, ¼ c. medium diced celery, ¼ c. medium diced onion 
​Instructions: Combine first 4 ingredients and bake in oven at 350°F until browned. Place roasted ingredients in sauce pan. Simmer to a boil and remove from heat. Place in food processor. Puree until a smooth texture is acquired. Add the essential oils. Add additional seasoning if desired.

Carda-Mint Gumdrop Diffuser Blend
Ingredients: 2 drops Cardamom, 2 drops Peppermint, 2 drops Lavender, 1 drop Cinnamon
​Instructions: Combine all essential oils. Add to diffuser of choice. Relax and enjoy the aroma.
